About the Showcase

Students are invited to create original artwork that reflects how peace can grow through everyday actions such as kindness, respect, helping each others, and understanding different perspectives.

Artwork may portray peace at school, within the community, or around the world, and illustrate how individual choices can contribute to building a more peaceful society.

Participation Guidelines

Submission Deadline: All artworks must be submitted by April 10 at 3:00 PM

Eligible Grade Levels & Awards

❋ Grades 6–8

  • First Prize — $250

  • Second Prize — $150

  • Third Prize — $100

❋ Grades 9–12

  • First Prize — $250

  • Second Prize — $150

  • Third Prize — $100

Artwork Size & Format

❋ Maximum size: 11 x 14 inches

❋ Artwork thickness must not exceed ¼ inch

Judging & Voting Criteria

As you review each artwork, we invite you to consider the following:

1.Relevance to Theme - How well the artwork reflects the theme “Peace Through Service.”

2.Creativity & Originality - The uniqueness of the idea and artistic approach.

3.Visual Impact - The overall impression, including use of color and composition.

4.Clarity of Message - How clearly the artwork expresses its message.

How Voting Works

After viewing the gallery, please proceed to the voting form to rate each artwork using a 5-heart system:

1 heart – Appreciated

5 hearts – Truly outstanding

You may give the same number of hearts to multiple artworks. The artwork that receives the highest total number of hearts will be declared the winner.
